Video editing is killing solo founders' productivity

Solo founders are losing business time because video editing has a steep learning curve and simple edits take multiple hours. Common fixes are outsourcing editing (Fiverr/paid editors), radically simplifying format to short/raw clips, or automating with AI and templates — but these are workarounds rather than baked-in, low-friction solutions.

Creators either outsource editing (Fiverr, team editors), intentionally create rough/short clips to save time, or use AI/automation and templates to reduce editing work.

If it's taking you 3-4 hours to edit, and you don't find CapCut intuitive, then it sounds like you need to hire it out. Try Fiverr. You might have to test out a few people to find someone you like.

A faster, lower-friction editing flow: templates, tiny segmented clips, or an easy outsourcing/AI-assisted pipeline to avoid learning heavy editors.

Some founders stick to really short, rough clips that get the point across and save hours. Others outsource just the editing while keeping content creation in-house. Have you tried breaking videos into tiny segments or templat
