Slack workflows lack rerun & bulk operations (cron failures / list cleanup)

Slack power-users report no built-in way to rerun past scheduled workflow executions and limited bulk list operations; practical workarounds are duplicating workflows or switching triggers, and users recommend scheduled workflows for cleanup, highlighting a clear product gap.

Slack power-users or workspace admins automating workflows and lists (cron jobs, Google Sheets connectors) who need reliable rerun/bulk features.

I'm surprised this isn't a thing. I sometimes have a failing workflow (it's a Google Sheets connector) that intermittently fails to select rows. Since it's on a cron daily, I have no simple way to re-run the failing workflow.

We have a list where staff add their daily figures. We only need to keep this information for about a month at most.

Slack's workflow builder lacks an easy 'rerun past execution' feature for scheduled workflows and limited bulk operations for lists; users must duplicate workflows or manually trigger workarounds.

I'm sure I'm not missing anything - there’s no true “rerun this past execution” button right now.

Duplicate the workflow or temporarily switch its trigger (manual/keyword/emoji) to run it once; for list cleanup use scheduled workflows instead of manual bulk deletions.

For cron/scheduled workflows, the usual workarounds are: - Temporarily switch the trigger (manual/keyword/emoji), run it once, then switch it back - Duplicate the workflow and run the copy ma

**Solution**: Create a Scheduled Workflow Instead of using a button/manual

A 'rerun past execution' feature for scheduled workflows and bulk list operations (bulk select/delete/archive) built into Slack's workflow builder.

You’re not missing anything - the built-in workflow builder is pretty limited for bulk operations like this
