Unreliable sync and risk of losing notes
Users experience painful, anxiety‑inducing sync failures: they must wait to avoid partial syncs or end up losing entire vaults. To cope they pay for vendor sync or run self‑hosted tools (Syncthing, FolderSync) or install real‑time plugins. They explicitly desire a background, reliable, encrypted sync with robust conflict handling.
